Because you would be able to see from their view what everything is for them. Basically they would be expressing and showing how they think they look like to the world. This helps them to be more imaginative and understanding what they see. This could also inspire them to be an artist as well. Honestly there are many reasons that can show how it's beneficial but these are some of the ones that I know.
