A ballad is a type of poem that tells a story and was traditionally set to music. English language ballads are typically composed of four lines per stanza that follow the A, B, C, B rhyme scheme.

Requirements: Must tell a COMPLETE story (real or fictional), must be written in four line stanzas that follow the A, B, C, B rhyme scheme (in each stanza), must include at least one enjambment. The enjambment must be in bold.

A minimum of six stanzas should be written. 1 for the Exposition, 2 for the Rising Action, 1 for the Climax, 1 for the Falling Action, 1 for the Resolution. If you want to write more you can.

An example of a ballad is "'Twas The Night Before Christmas" Click on the link to see the example. This poem has an A, A, B, B rhyme scheme, but you must use the A, B, C, B rhyme scheme.

Example:

Larry, a salamander, lived near a city (A)

in a misty, dark, and shadowy bog. (B)

His journey began with some bugs in his hand (C)

as he pondered and sat on a log. (B)

Respuesta :

I saw their starved lips in the gloam

With horrid warning gapèd wide

And I awoke and found me here

On the cold hill’s side

HOPE IT HELPS

PLEASE MARK ME BRAINLIEST ☺️

Graduation
Remember us when we are gone away,
We have to let go of middle schools hand,
The time has come yet we want to still stay,
The time is passing like an hourglass sand.

June is so close as we all can see,
Everybody is excited with cheer,
Further off is where this great class will be,
We can all say this was a Saudade year.

Eighth grade was great but we forgot one thing,
Great things await you just walk through the door,
Eighth grade is over and we learned new things,
High school is here, and every day is yours.

Graduation is here, we've come so far,
Be cheerful and celebrate who you are.
