Imagine a community where there are trees, moose, and wolves. The beetles eat the trees, and the spiders eat the beetles. Which of the following lists the species from most to least biomass (or number of individuals) correctly.

The correct answer is wolves, moose, trees. 

Trees do not eat any other species, giving them the least biomass. When the moose eat the trees, they are gaining some biomass. When the wolves eat the moose, they are also eating the trees that the moose ate, giving the wolves the most biomass.
