Giovanni Battista Tiepolo was known for his grand frescos in the rococo style.
In 1716, Giovanni painted his first grand fresco on the ceiling of a church at Biadene. In 1719-1720, he painted a series of frescoes for the nobled. He was famous because his wall frescoes are rooted in Venetian history and he narrate events with supreme naturalness.
