it’s always good to have several “backup” plans and have other routes to opt for.
even if you manage to reach your dream job you might come across problems that make you change your mind, so having other options to keep in mind it lets you have a broader goal and more positive mindset if something doesn’t go your way :)
also let’s you have something to fall back on!

because you may not be able to Perdue your career in the future so it's good to have a back up plan or if you lose interest or if the requirements for your dream career change so it takes you time to pursue it so it's good to have a extra career just to be safe so you don't have to worry if you something happens to your carrer
