The utopia is a word borrowed from Thomas More. It designed a world which is a perfect society in which everyone works well with each other and is happy.

Instances : L'Ile des Esclaves by Marivaux

Whereas, a dystopia is the contrary of utopia. It is an imaginary society that offers a potical and social system that prevent people from reaching happiness.

Instances : Brave New World by Aldous Huxley and 1984 by Georges Orwell

That's all i know, sorry ^^

Hope this helps !
