Hello! What she did wrong was that she probably didn't do a step right and it doesn't seem like she did any regrouping. You have to line the numbers up by place value and regroup, just like you do whole numbers. 16.007 - 0.55 is really 15.457. The thing is that she didn't subtract right and did no regrouping in the process.

Answer: The problem is that she subtracted by the .500 which went from 16.007 to 10.507
