When
the fetus is in a breech (sacrum and feet) presentation, fetal heart
tones are heard above the umbilicus. With a right anterior position, the
back is on the maternal right side. Option 2 is the location in which
to place the ultrasound transducer when the fetus is in the left sacrum
anterior (LSA) presentation/position. Option 3 is the location at which
to place the ultrasound transducer when the fetus is in the right
occipitoposterior (ROP) presentation/position. Option 4 is the location
at which to place the ultrasound transducer when the fetus is in the
left occipitoposterior (LOP) presentation/position.
