Paul McCartney. From 1982 to 1986 Eric Stewart worked with Paul McCartney as a guitarist, vocalist,and song writer on three albums. Stewart's influence is quite obvious in the 1982 song Take it Away from the Tug of War album, which features the layered vocals the 10cc band was famous for.
