futurism is a really good example of this. It is a largely Italian movement that started towards the beginning of the 20th century. it focuses on the industrial city and technology, incorporating elements of speed and movement and features machines such as cars and aeroplanes. it appears in all kinds of art such as painting, sculpture and theatre to name a few.
