When huge businesses want to try to get more products sold for a cheaper price, they will go to other places in the world and not treat their workers well. These certain businesses will try to maximize profit leaving all ethical and moral rights out of it. This is another big reason to say America got better over the years.

A major corporation's goal is to have enough inventory made at a cheap price. This usually means that the corporation will have products made in places that don't prioritize fairness or a worker's health. Though this will maximize profit, it will also result in grossly unethical labor conditions.
