      Frankenstein's monster is a man who is, by human standards, hideous, terrifying, and assumed by his appearance to be a dangerous brute. For this reason, the human senses, especially the sight of him, repels humans and serves as a barrier to his ability to connect with humans and show them kindness.

it could be said that this excerpt indicates that his appearance repels humans (option D) .They do not comprehend him because of its looks. It seems that the only solution was to create a female companion for him , she would be the only one the monster could be with him.
