The sum of a number and its reciprocal is 13/6. find the number

suppose the number is x, its reciprocal is 1/x
x+1/x=13/6
(x^2+1)/x=13/6
6(x^2+1)=13x
6x^2-13x+6=0
(3x-2)(2x-3)=0
x=2/3 or x=3/2
