how was the issue of counting slaves for population in determining congressional representation resolved at the constitution convention

Respuesta :

It was resolved with the 3/5 compromise, which stated that an African American was counted as 3/5 of a person for population purposes.
With the (horrific) 3/5 Compromise, which stated that slaves would be counted as a special type of property in which each slave was considered 3/5 of a person when determining the number of representatives for a particular state.
