1. Black performers were granted equal rights to be paid for their music.
2. Many musicians were attributed for their accomplishments even to this day and it's a big honor to receive an award.
3. In 1986, they created something that is known as "The Golden Soundtrack Award" to honor composers for their hard work in television and film music.
4. They honor the talented stars that we see often - whether it's in television or music.
