The food handler should wash his/her hands before preparing other ingredients for the sandwich. The food handler must be touching some tools when grilling chicken, so his/her hand need to be sanitized. Using a new glove after washing hand will be better since it gives more protection.
After finishing the process of grilling a chicken breast for a sandwich, the food handler should wash his or her hands prior to touching any kind of other eatables like lettuce, tomato, and bun.
At the same time the food handler should make sure that he or she is wearing an appropriate equipment while handling the food, that is, gloves, mask, and if necessary goggles also in order to prevent contamination of food.
