Write a brief dialogue in which various members of society comment on conditions in the Roman Empire during the Pax Romana. Participants might include a senator, a civil servant, a slave, a merchant, and a former soldier.
When writing a dialogue like this, make sure to talk about how the division of power and political strength was much more pronounced, especially between the senators and the slaves.
