Explain how you can use multiplication to find the quotient 3/5÷3/15 then evaluate the expression.

Please answer for brainlest answer and thanksss!!!:)

Respuesta :

In order to solve this problem you need to keep change flip. You keep the first term (3/5) the same. Then you change the sign from division to multiplication then flip the 3/15 so its 15/3. Then you can simplify because the 5 and 15 share a factor (5). You can do the same things with the 3's. This the problem is now 1/1 * 3/1 which means the answer is 3 :) hope this helped
[tex]\frac{\frac{3}{5}}{\frac{3}{15}}[/tex]
well, first simplify
[tex]\frac{\frac{3}{5}}{\frac{1}{5}}[/tex]
multiply the whole thing by [tex]\frac{\frac{5}{1}}{\frac{5}{1}}[/tex]

[tex](\frac{\frac{3}{5}}{\frac{1}{5}})(\frac{\frac{5}{1}}{\frac{5}{1}})=[/tex]

[tex]\frac{(\frac{3}{5})(\frac{5}{1})}{(\frac{1}{5})(\frac{5}{1})}=\frac{\frac{15}{5}}{\frac{5}{5}}=\frac{\frac{3}{1}}{1}=\frac{3}{1}=3[/tex]

dats how you use multiplicaton to simplify fraction
