Three main differences between the Scotch-Irish and the Germans are the following:

German people came to America with more material goods, whereas, the Scotch-Irish when reached to America, had less wealth and possession.

Germans, on the one hand, spread throughout the country, on the other hand, Scotch-Irish resided within a definite area of America.

Scotch-Irish had religious conflicts with the Protestants in the land they lived in,  but this was not the case with the Germans as they remained religiously and culturally autonomous.
