In a quadrilateral ABCD,the angles A,B and C are in the ratio 1:3:7.Find (a) angle D (b) angle C given that the sum of angle A,B,C Is 187°

Let angle A be [tex]x[/tex], angle B be [tex]3x[/tex], and angle C be [tex]7x[/tex]

A+B+C = 187
[tex]x+3x+7x=187[/tex]
[tex]11x=187[/tex]
[tex]x=17[/tex]

Angle A = 17°
Angle B= 51°
Angle C= 119°

Angle D = 360 - (17+51+119) = 173
