I took A because all I did was I just divided 24 by 2 = 12
However, I don't think I am right though :)
There is a reason they added option D which looks like there are something missing in the triangle.
Hey, don't get intimidated, if the exercise tries to confuse you. I think you did it right! The median intersects at the mid of the side, so B is in the middle of AC, so 12 must be the right answer.
