Sample space is the list of outcomes. To find out the list of outcomes of the problem stated above, let us use the Theoretical Probability.
Theoretical Probability= favorable Outcome
total possible outcomes
Let us suppose the following:
P(blue) = no. of ways to land on blue
total no. of colors
= 1/4
= .25
To get the percentage of the outcome, let us multiply .25 with 100
=.25 x 100
= 25%
This means, 1 out 4 is the probability of blue to occur.
The same thing happens to red, green and yellow. They have 1 possible favorable outcome out of 4 possible outcomes.
