B) x * y = -8
B) y = -8 / x  we can substitute this into equation A
A) x + -8 /x = 2 multiplying both sides by "x"
A) x² -8 = 2x
x² +2x -8 = 0
(x + 4) * (x -2)
The 2 numbers are -4 and 2
