The answer would be −37 So we know that the diver is 82 feet bellow surface, this means the surface level is 0 and 82 feet bellow that would be -82. Since I know this I can go ahead and do the second step. What I did for the second step is I got 15 ft and multiplied it by 3 (45) since he rose 3 times. Since he ROSE 45 that means 45 is positive.
