Rick bought 6 tomatoes that each weigh 1/4 of a pound. Russ bought 14 tomatoes that each weigh 1/8. Whose tomatoes weigh more?

6 x 1/4 = 1 2/4 = 1 1/2
14 x 1/8 = 1 6/8 = 1 3/4

Russ' tomatoes weigh more because 3/4 is more than 1/2.
