Cells contain specialized parts known as organelles. These specialized parts perform very specific functions within cells. For example, chloroplasts capture energy from the Sun, mitochondria release energy stored in glucose, lysosomes aid in waste disposal, and ribosomes are involved in protein building. What would most likely happen if one or more parts of a cellular system failed to function properly?

Respuesta :

then the plant cant do photosynthesis

Answer;

The cellular system would not be able to function normally

Explanation;

  • Each organelle in the cell has its own function to make the cell live. Therefore, if an one organelle is removed or failed to function properly, there would be a possibility that the cell would not be able to carry out its role normally.
  • For example, in plant cells, if the chloroplast is removed or nor working properly the plant cells will not undertake photosynthesis which is a key cellular process. If the mitochondria failed to function properly then most activities of the cell would fail as there is no energy or ATP to drive them which is generated by the mitochondria.
