Max Weber (1864 -1920), was a German economist and was regarded as one of the three main founders of sociology, the "fathers of sociology". His contribution to sociology is the understanding of the sociological perspective, the natural change in social relations, and social inequality.  Social inequality is established on the basis of the power that a particular class or person  accomplishes by having the capacity to influence others. This ability to influence others is realized through the possession of property, prestige.
