An aspect of the event of various types of balls bouncing off the same floor, being matter is that all the balls consist of matter. They all occupy space and have a form of energy when moved by a force, such as a person. And for energy, like I just said, when they bounce they create energy as they bounce up and down, so if the ball were to hit some other object, it would have an impact on the still object.
The given event relates the matter and energy, as balls are itself the matter and is fulfilling the fundamentals of conservation of energy.
The matter can be defined as a physical substance, having mass and known to occupy some space when kept in a container or vessel. And energy is a quantitative property, that an object or a body possesses in the form of work. Energy has several forms and it can be convertible from one form to another.
- The given event is related with the matter because the balls of different shape and materials is nothing, but a matter. Each of these balls in the form of matter, occupy space and have a form of energy when moved by a force, such as a person.
- The given event is also related to energy, because bouncing the balls needs some work to be done on the ball. And once the balls stated bouncing off the floor, the work done is converted into maximum kinetic energy at the floor, maximum potential energy at the highest point of bounce.
Thus, we can conclude that the given event is related with the matter and energy, because each ball satisfies the properties of matter and energy .
