While performing an experiment at home, Emma adds lemon juice to a soap solution. How will this affect the pH of the soap solution?

It will lower the pH of the solution  since soap is basic (pH>7).

         The soap is basic (with a ph > 7)  so adding lemon juice                       (ph < 7 ;  much less than 7) will decrease the pH.
