if you have always been waiting for the guy who would love you for who you are and not what you have and he eventually gets here is it to fast to be committed and trust the person ? and why is it that relationships never last these days ?

Relationships these days don't last long mostly because 1) the person doesn't turn out to be who you thought they were or 2) the relationship was rushed. I mean, there's millions of reasons out there, but that's just a couple. I say get to know the person even more before you decide to commit to a relationship.
