if 8 is added to twice number and this sum is multiplied by 3, the result is the same as if the number is multiplied by 4 and 10 is added to the product, what is the number

3(2x + 8) = 4x + 10
6x + 24 = 4x + 10
6x - 4x = 10 - 24
2x = - 14
x = -14/2
x = -7 <== ur number
