I need help... I try to write a flash fiction. I start with one idea, but that idea turns into a bigger and bigger idea, and I end up writing more than 500 words and I end up giving up on the story because it gets too long. What do I do?

Start with bullet points.

Explanation:

When you make bullet points, try to minimize the information into as few words as possible, as well as trying to make as few bullet points as possible, and THEN write the flash fiction, do not go outside those bullet points for ANYTHING, and you should be fine.
