The best time to asses for the presence of a temor is when the patient is resting.

What is a temor?

There are tremor-causing factors outside underlying diseases. Excessive muscle weariness from activity or medical side effects is two examples.

The tremor is present even while the patient is at rest, but it gets worse when they walk, concentrate, or get nervous. When the extremities are immobile, resting tremor is noticeable but typically goes away with deliberate movement. As a result, when the patient is not making a conscious effort, the nurse should check for tremors.
