Pseudoscience includes beliefs, theories, or practices that have been or are considered scientific but have no basis in scientific fact. This could mean they were disproved scientifically, can't be tested scientifically, or lack evidence to support them. The term generally has a negative connotation. When used, someone's insinuating the topic isn't based on scientific findings and is, therefore, lacking in truth.

Pseudoscience

The term "pseudoscience" refers to claims that something is both true and scientific but yet is incompatible with the scientific method. Pseudoscience is frequently distinguished by conflicting, exaggerated, or unfalsifiable claims, reliance on confirmation bias instead of rigorous attempts at refutation, lack of openness to evaluation by other experts, absence of systematic practises when developing hypotheses, and continued adherence long after the pseudoscientific hypotheses have been experimentally disproved.
