The White Dwarf is a star that eventually cools and dims. When it stops shining, this star is now a dead star which is also called a Black Dwarf. Massive stars transform into different stars such as supernovae, neutron stars and black holes while on the other hand, the average stars like the sun, change into a white dwarf that is surrounded by a disappearing planetary nebula.
So we can conclude that white dwarf star is change into black dwarf when it cools down and dims.

When will a body be a Black Hole ?
A body is a black hole if all its mass is inside a sphere with Schwarzschild radius. Any region of spacetime where there is very strong gravity and no particles or even electromagnetic radiation such as light can escape from it is known as black hole.
At the end of its evolution a star can become the following;
- a white dwarf
- a black hole
- a neutron star
Only very heavy stars end up as black holes while the lighter stars evolve into white dwarfs and neutron stars, which as their name suggests consist largely of neutrons.
But as time goes on, the strong gravitational fields of both white dwarfs and neutron stars attract more and more cosmic dust and gas. When they gather up enough mass, they too will become black holes. If the universe lasts long enough, then everything in it may be in the form of black holes
