The Rwandan genocide is known to be a massive genocide that was taken against the Tutsi and this was said to have taken place between 7 April and 15 July 1994 in course of the Rwandan Civil War.

The Tutsi  were the target and 800,000 people and lots more were slaughtered  by ethnic Hutu extremists. The reason was because of the death of the Rwandan President Juvenal Habyarimana, who was a Hutu, and they were their political opponents.

A lot of members of the Hutu ethnic majority that were based in the east-central African nation of Rwanda were known to have murdered a lot of people about  800,000 people of  Tutsi minority.
