Periodic table is "a tabular arrangement of the chemical elements organized by atomic number, from the element with the lowest atomic number, hydrogen, to the element with the highest atomic number".
Hence, sodium and potassium would not react to form a bond together. As
sodium and Potassium are alkali metals i.e., they tend to loose electron and become a positive charged ion. To form a bond, the element should posses positive ion and negative charged ions.
