No, is the short answer. Rocks don't float, boats can float only because they aren't as dense or heavy as rocks. They float because they aren't as heavy as the water they move while rocks are heavier then the water it moves. Rocks are heavier not per say 30lb. of water to one measly 1lb. rock, the rock is denser 10g/ml. where the water has a density of 1g/ml.
