 3x + 2y = 2
 2x – y = 6 so y = 2x - 6

replace y = 2x - 6 into  3x + 2y = 2 

 3x + 2y = 2 
 3x + 2(2x - 6) = 2 
3x + 4x - 12 = 2
7x = 14
x =2

y = 2x - 6
y = 2(2) - 6
y = 4 - 6
y = -2

so x = 2 and y = -2

answer is B.
