1. The biotic factors of the ecosystem includes all the living organisms that sustain their life on earth. These includes animals, plants, microbes, insects and humans.
2. The abiotic factors of the ecosystem includes all the non-living factors which are necessary for the survival of the living beings such as sunlight, water, air, soil and others.
3. The biotic factor interacts with the abiotic factor by the exchange of energy and molecules. For example, plants being an abiotic factor interacts with the surrounding environment by taking carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen.
4. The biotic factor such as a group of pollinating butterflies is replaced by the invasive pests. These invasive pests will cause major destruction of the plant community in an ecosystem, and plants will not be available as a source of food for animals.
5. The soil is a abiotic factor whose pH can be changed dramatically. The pH can be lowered to extreme acidic or highly alkaline the soil will not support plant growth.
