In “Oedipus the King” by Sophocles Teiresias is a blind old man that receives vision of the future from Apollo, he also can tell the future by observing the birds behavior, In play there is an scene where Teiresias and Oedipus get into a confrontation because he is no going to say the identity of Laius' murderer where it is shown his character.
