Who is Nick?

Nick is the narrator in the novel "The Great Gatsby," by F. Scott Fitzgerald. He moves to New York and begins to live among the high society there.

Their excessive parties, problems, and affairs seem to draw Nick in like a moth to a flame. Although he is different, he still goes along.

Nick tells us at the beginning that he tries to not judge people. Maybe this is why he keeps attending when they invite. He is giving them a second chance.
