How does Douglass’s account compare to the textbook account? Does it support it or undermine it? Explain.

Respuesta :

Answer: Douglass thought that it would be looked at like an act of treason against the federal government. Based on this new document, I think that John Brown is more like a misguided fanatic than before because he is walking into something where he is not sure if he will make it out alive

Answer:

Douglass’s account is similar to the textbook because they both say that John Brown wanted to inspire a slave uprising in the South.
