What kind of the question is that. We aren't really buried. We either go to Heaven or the other place. Some people say it's over when your buried in the ground but believers don't really think that.

We are buried in the ground when we die because us as humans are great fertilizer for the earth... our body is made up of earth originally so you would want to be buried back into the earth because why not?

Also in some places body burial is polluting the air, believe it or not!
