OK so this is agreeable but worded to where some might not understand Basically it's very important because with out it our houses would be free game to people and that isn't what we want. It's protected so that if we haven't done anything suspicious we shouldn't need to be searched. It would be understandable if there were many complaints to be asked but it wouldn't be necessary to let them in with out proper authorization.
The rights of the people in our homes is the most protected right covered in the 4th Amendment. It secures the person in their house by protecting them against unreasonable search and seizure which shall not be violated with out probable cause and a warrant. This covers papers and effects. Warrants have to specifically describe the areas to be searched and the items that they are looking for. Amendment 4 functions to prohibit unlawful searches and seizures, including seizures of the person that is arrested and detained. In this context, the "right to privacy" is the "right to be free of unlawful searches and seizures"--and, of course, it is a very highly-qualified right.
