The people who are in the greatest danger of becoming ill from the consumption of raw or undercooked foods are: C. children.
A raw food refer to a food that is still in its natural state and hasn't yet been cooked, roasted or fried at all. Thus, a raw food is still in the form in which it was harvested and as such may contain disease causing microorganisms (pathogens) such as fungi, protozoa, bacteria, etc.
On a related note, an undercooked food is a type of food that wasn't cooked to the optimal temperature or amount of time. Thus, an undercooked food is most likely to contain disease causing microorganisms (pathogens) because they can only die under a high temperature.
In conclusion, children are in the greatest danger of becoming ill from the consumption of raw or undercooked foods because their internal organs and systems isn't well developed to resist the effects.
