first... we need to get rid of fraction.... the fraction is 5/6 ...so we need to multiply both side by 6 

6y = (6)(5/6)x + (6)(6) 

from that ...we get 

6y = 5x + 36 

so according to the "Standard Form" formula... we need to rearrange 
Ax + By = C 

we subtract 5x to the left 

(-5x) + 6y = 36
