3x + 18 = 8x + 26
• Now we need to subtract "18" by both sides of the given equation.
-5x + 18 - 18 = 28 - 18
28-18 = 10
-5x = 10

• Now we need to divide both of our sides by -5, to get our final and foremost answer.
