A technological gadget that i can't imagine living without is: A smartphone.

A smartphone can be defined as a hand-held electronic gadget typically designed and developed to avail end users the ability to perform various activities that are being done through the use of a computer such as;

  • Browsing and surfing the world wide web (WWW).
  • Typing and formatting text-based documents.
  • Listening to music by playing audio files.
  • Streaming and watching of movies, shows, news program, etc.
  • Editing of visual images such as pictures.

Additionally, a smartphone can be used to perform many other important tasks such as;

  • It is used for communicating with friends and families through calls and text messages.
  • It is used for getting direction by using a global positioning system (GPS).
  • It is used for e-commerce such as remotely shopping and making payment for goods and services.

Hence, it is clear from the aforementioned functions and uses of a smartphone that it's an essential part of human life. Since, I am also human and one who perform these tasks on a regular basis, it is important to state that a smartphone is important to me.

In conclusion, a smartphone is important to me because it helps to perform majority of my tasks effortlessly, effectively, efficiently, and flawlessly.
