A plane is 80 miles south and 35 miles east of an airport the pilot wants to fly directly to the airport what bearing should be taken? Draw a picture.

[tex] \alpha = \tan {}^{ - 1} ( \frac{7}{16} ) [/tex]

[tex] \alpha = 23.629°[/tex]=24°

24° bearing should be taken from south airport to East airport.
